I received the following in an email today:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a quote from Don Quixote; he is telling the forty “giants” he saw to beware because he will kill them all.
“I shall deprive them of their lives, and with the spoils from this encounter we shall begin to enrich ourselves; for this is righteous warfare, and it is a great service to God to remove so accursed a breed from the face of the earth.”
Of course, the giants were actually windmills, and he didn’t win the battle. This just struck me that it is so like our “War on Terror.”
