George W. Bush: Peter Sellers Times Ten, At Least
In one of their series of Pink Panther movies Chief Inspector Dreyfus (Herbert Lom), muses: "Give me ten men like Clouseau (Sellers), and I'll destroy the world."

Happy Birthday to You? Not Hardly!
The Iraq war is five years old. It's something I can see as only a horrible and total waste. About 4000 American military personnel have died for nothing. Trillions of dollars pissed away for nothing. For Iraqis, millions killed or forced from their country for less than nothing.
Is there to be no end? No, there's not. GWB spoke today about how we must continue, continue the same old same old.
The worst is yet to come.

"In essence, the feds demanded easy loan policies, prompting financial institutions to loan money to practically anyone who could fog a mirror.
"And now (surprise!) we come to find that people with bad credit are, well, bad credit risks!"
